Good Reads

I read.  I read a lot.  I guess the normal term is that I'm an avid reader.  John hates loathes my boxes of books, but I refuse to get rid of any.  I will have a beautiful library when we finally decide that we are in our forever home.  I read all sorts of books/novels.  Here you will find a list of reads that I've enjoyed for one reason or another.  Feel free to let me know if you've read any of them, and what you liked or didn't like about it, in the comments section below.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Clive Barker that I have read.  I got The Thief of Always as a gift for my last birthday.  I just read it today, June 16 2016.  It's aimed at a young reader audience and is a graphic novella.  Look out for it on film in the near future.  I highly recommend The Great and Secret Show as well as Weaveworld.

This is the first novel in the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness.  I was frustrated that there really isn't any indication that this is part of a trilogy anywhere.  Book Two is Shadow of Night, and Book Three is The Book of Life.

Wizard's First Rule is the first novel in the Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind.  It was originally a 12 novel series, however, there are now pre-sequels and other novels fitting into the timeline.  In order to read them all, you're looking at 17 books total.  I have read the original 12, and a couple of the newer ones, but not all of them.  I will, eventually.

Dead Witch Walking is the first novel in Kim Harrisons' The Hollow's Series.  This is my most favorite series so far.  This series is complete at 13 novels.  There are other things Hollows, such as The Hollows Insider, two graphic novels, and six anthologies.  I have The Hollows Insider and Into the Woods, in addition to the 13 novel series.  I will eventually have all things pertaining to this series.
